Registered Veterinary Nurse – 24-Hour Hospital – West London

Up to £38,000 per annum DOE | Full Time | 4-Day Week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join an established 24-hour small animal hospital in West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN looking to develop their clinical skills within a busy hospital environment, working alongside an experienced veterinary and nursing team across a varied caseload. You'll be encouraged to utilise your nursing skills fully, including nurse-led consultations and Schedule 3 activities, while continuing to develop professionally.

The role offers a four-day working week, a 1 in 6 full weekend rota and a £1,000 sign-on bonus.

The Role

You'll play an important role within the hospital nursing team, delivering high standards of patient and client care while working closely with Veterinary Surgeons and fellow nursing colleagues.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering nurse-led consultations
• Carrying out Schedule 3 activities
• Supporting Veterinary Surgeons with consultations, surgeries and procedures
• Providing patient monitoring and inpatient care
• Managing admissions and discharges
• Delivering excellent client care
• Working across a varied hospital caseload
• Maintaining high clinical, regulatory and operational standards
• Working collaboratively within the wider hospital team
• Continuing to develop and utilise your clinical nursing skills

Rota

• 40 hours per week
• 4-day working week
• 1 in 6 full weekends
