An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established small animal practice in West London.
You'll be joining a close-knit and supportive team with a loyal and diverse client base, providing high-quality, patient-focused veterinary care. The role offers plenty of clinical variety, with a particular emphasis on medical nursing, inpatient care, nurse-led appointments and supporting detailed case investigations.
This would particularly suit an RVN who enjoys working to high clinical standards, wants to continue developing their nursing skills and would value opportunities to mentor students and contribute to clinical quality improvement.

The Role
You'll play a key role in the clinical nursing team, with responsibilities including:
- Delivering nurse-led consultations and Schedule 3 procedures
- Providing high-quality inpatient nursing care
- Supporting Veterinary Surgeons with consultations and surgical procedures
- Assisting with medical investigations and case work-ups
- Monitoring hospitalised patients
- Managing patient admissions and discharges
- Providing excellent client care and education
- Supporting the training and development of nursing and EMS students
- Contributing to clinical governance and quality improvement projects
- Helping develop clinical policies and practice standards
- Working collaboratively within a friendly and supportive team
Rota
This is a full-time permanent position.
Specific working hours, weekend rota and any OOH or on-call requirements have not been provided.

The practice has an established client base and a varied caseload comprising approximately 60% dogs and 40% cats, with a strong emphasis on medical cases and thorough clinical investigations.

The practice has a strong cat-friendly approach, with an emphasis on handling techniques designed to minimise stress for feline patients.
The team also has access to a nearby 24-hour hospital, providing additional support for inpatient care, emergencies and advanced procedures when required.
