Night Registered Veterinary Nurse – Enfield, Greater London

Permanent, part-time twilight role (30 hours per week)
24-hour hospital environment with ECC exposure
Monday–Friday evenings with no weekend rota

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a busy 24-hour veterinary hospital in Enfield, Greater London, working within a dedicated emergency and inpatient care environment.

This twilight role is ideal for an RVN who enjoys overnight nursing, wants to develop emergency and critical care skills, and values being part of a supportive, experienced night team. You’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients when they need it most.

The Role

You will work alongside a dedicated overnight team including a Veterinary Surgeon and another Registered Veterinary Nurse, providing exceptional inpatient and emergency care.

Duties include patient monitoring, admissions and discharges, supporting medical and surgical cases, Schedule 3 activities where appropriate, and maintaining consistently high clinical and regulatory standards. The role offers excellent exposure to ECC cases and meaningful clinical responsibility.

Working pattern:

• 30 hours per week

• Monday to Friday, 8:00pm–2:00am

• One bank holiday per year

• No weekend rota

What We’re Looking For

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse

• Interest or experience in ECC and overnight nursing

• Confident working independently within a hospital setting

• Strong clinical judgement and calm decision-making

• Excellent communication and teamworking skills

• Commitment to delivering gold-standard patient care

Must Haves
