The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established small animal practice in Richmond upon Thames, Greater London, on a maternity cover fixed-term contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent role.

Located in one of South West London’s most desirable areas, the practice benefits from a loyal, well-informed client base and strong local community ties. The role would suit an RVN who values continuity of care, clinical excellence and working within a friendly, close-knit team.

The Role

You will be involved in all aspects of day-to-day nursing, supporting consultations, surgeries and diagnostics while delivering consistently high standards of patient and client care.

The practice is modern and well equipped, featuring multiple consult rooms, separate dental and surgical suites, digital and dental radiography, in-house laboratory facilities, and dedicated cat and dog wards. Advanced anaesthetic and monitoring systems support safe, high-quality clinical work.

This is a full-time fixed-term position covering maternity leave.

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse

• Confident across all aspects of general practice nursing

• Experience with nurse-led clinics and Schedule 3 activities

• Strong communication and client-care skills
