An opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a busy and established small animal practice in Hertfordshire.

This is a varied clinical nursing role within an experienced veterinary team, with plenty of opportunity to utilise your nursing skills across nurse-led clinics, theatre, procedures and inpatient care. The practice also has a particular interest in exotics, with one of the veterinary surgeons holding an exotics certificate.

The Role

You'll play an important role in delivering high-quality clinical nursing care and supporting the veterinary team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Nurse-led consultations
• Schedule 3 procedures
• Supporting vets with consultations and procedures
• Theatre and surgical nursing
• Patient monitoring and inpatient care
• Admissions and discharges
• Client communication and support
• Maintaining high clinical and regulatory standards
• Working collaboratively with the wider clinical team

Rota

This is a full-time position.

The role also requires participation in:

• Weekend working
• Some Bank Holiday cover
• An on-call rota
• Supporting colleagues at a nearby 24-hour hospital
