Veterinary Surgeon | Leicestershire

An opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join an established small animal team in Leicestershire, working across three closely linked practices within the local area.

Offering a salary of £42,500 – £60,000 per annum, this full-time role provides plenty of clinical variety, with a mixture of consultations and surgery and the opportunity to work alongside different teams across the three practices.

The Role

Rather than being based at a single site, you'll work across three practices within the same Leicestershire area, providing additional variety while becoming part of the wider local veterinary team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality first-opinion consultations
• Carrying out routine surgical procedures
• Managing medical and surgical cases
• Developing appropriate treatment plans with clients
• Providing clear and supportive client communication
• Working collaboratively with veterinary, nursing and support colleagues
• Sharing clinical knowledge and supporting colleagues across the local practices
• Maintaining high clinical, regulatory and operational standards

Facilities & Team

You'll be part of an established network of three local practices, providing the opportunity to work with a broader group of veterinary professionals and access support across the different sites.

The multi-site nature of the position should provide a varied caseload and working environment while keeping travel within the same local area.

About You

You'll need to be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with a commitment to delivering excellent patient and client care.

The role would suit a Vet who:

• Is comfortable with general first-opinion practice
• Enjoys both consultations and surgery
• Is happy working across multiple nearby practices
• Works well within different clinical teams
• Wants to continue developing their clinical skills
