We are recruiting for a Locum Registered Veterinary Nurse to provide ongoing cover at a long-established independent veterinary practice in East Sussex, starting ASAP for approximately 3 months.

The practice has a busy and varied caseload with an experienced veterinary and nursing team and excellent clinical facilities.

🩺 Duties: General RVN duties including theatre, anaesthesia, inpatient care, laboratory work and nurse clinics

💷 Rate: £21 to £25 per hour

🏥 The Practice

This is a genuinely independent practice with a broad clinical caseload and a strong emphasis on providing high-quality patient care.

The nursing team is actively involved in clinical work, with RVNs running their own nurse consultations alongside supporting surgery, diagnostics and inpatient care. The practice currently states that it has seven qualified RVNs running nurse consultations.

Facilities include digital X-ray, ultrasound, dental facilities, laboratory equipment and well-equipped surgical areas.

🐾 The Nurse

We're looking for a confident RVN who can integrate into an established team and assist with the day-to-day clinical workload.

A small animal RVN can be considered, so previous farm or equine nursing experience is not essential.

Amazing experience

New Grad Experience

Both Abby and Adam were fantastic, quick to respond and also really took into account what exactly I was looking for. As soon as I’d mentioned to Abby I was interested in the charity/not-for-profit sector she quickly compiled a list of practices that might interest me.
