🐾 Locum Veterinary Surgeon – ASAP Ongoing – Northamptonshire 🐾

We are recruiting for a Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly independent small animal practice in Northamptonshire, starting ASAP and continuing until at least the end of November 2026.

This is a regular 4-day week plus a 1 in 4 weekend rota, with excellent private accommodation available and no OOH or on-call.

🏥 The Practice

You'll be joining an established 5-FTE vet team within a modern independent practice that places a strong emphasis on continuity of care and excellent client service.

The practice offers 15-minute consultations and has on-site diagnostic, operating, X-ray and ultrasound facilities, alongside separate cat and dog waiting areas.

🏡 Accommodation

A private flat above the practice is available for the locum's exclusive use and includes a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and lounge, making this particularly suitable for vets travelling into the area.

🐾 The Vet

We're looking for a confident small animal vet who can join the established rota and commit to regular ongoing cover.

The rota is planned approximately 3 months in advance, providing good visibility of working days and weekends throughout the booking.
