An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a growing and supportive small animal practice in the Lincoln area. The Practice
This modern, purpose-built small animal practice is one of the newest within a large independent, family-owned veterinary group and has been designed specifically to provide an outstanding environment for patients, clients and colleagues.
The practice is light, spacious and equipped with modern veterinary technology, allowing the clinical team to provide a high standard of first opinion, surgical and inpatient care. The team is passionate about delivering exceptional clinical standards while maintaining a friendly, collaborative working environment.
You'll be joining colleagues with a broad range of clinical interests and experience, with several members of the wider team currently working towards additional certificates and qualifications. This creates an excellent environment for an RVN looking to continue developing their clinical knowledge while learning alongside experienced veterinary professionals.
Registered Veterinary Nurses are encouraged to play an active role within the clinical team and utilise their skills across theatre, anaesthesia, inpatient care, diagnostics and general nursing.

The Location
Located in the Lincoln area of Lincolnshire, the practice benefits from an excellent location within one of the UK's most historic cathedral cities.

With good road and rail connections to surrounding areas including Newark, Grantham, Gainsborough and Sleaford, the location provides an excellent base for both work and leisure.
The Role
This is a full-time permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse position working four 9-hour days per week together with participation in a shared 1 in 4 weekend rota.
There is also a requirement to participate in duty nights on a rotational basis, supporting the practice's commitment to providing excellent patient care both during the day and overnight.
You'll enjoy a varied nursing caseload and work closely alongside Veterinary Surgeons, fellow RVNs and the wider clinical team. The position provides the opportunity to become involved across all aspects of small animal nursing including theatre, anaesthesia, inpatient care, diagnostics, patient monitoring and general nursing responsibilities.
The practice places a strong emphasis on teamwork, so you'll be encouraged to support colleagues while also having the opportunity to develop your own clinical interests.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with excellent communication and client care skills together with a genuine passion for providing exceptional patient care.
You'll be a proactive team player who enjoys getting involved across a varied caseload and supporting colleagues within a busy clinical environment.
A positive and collaborative approach is important, together with the enthusiasm to continue learning and developing professionally. This position would particularly suit an RVN looking for a modern practice where clinical development, teamwork and high standards of patient care are genuinely prioritised.
