The Practice
This established small animal practice has earned an excellent reputation for delivering compassionate, high-quality veterinary care within a welcoming and supportive environment. You'll be joining a close-knit team of Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, a Student Veterinary Nurse and dedicated Client Care colleagues who work collaboratively to provide the highest standards of patient and client care.
The practice manages a busy and varied first opinion caseload, giving nurses the opportunity to fully utilise their clinical skills across consultations, theatre, inpatient care and Schedule 3 procedures. Nurse consultations are an important part of the service, allowing RVNs to build strong client relationships while playing a key role in preventative healthcare and ongoing patient support.

The Location

The Role
This is a permanent full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse position working 40 hours per week across five days.
The rota includes either 1 in 4 Saturdays or 1 in 8 full weekends, with time off in lieu provided. You'll also participate in one Bank Holiday per year and up to two weeks of on-call duties annually.
The role offers an excellent mix of nurse consultations, Schedule 3 procedures, inpatient nursing, anaesthesia, surgical support, patient monitoring and client education. Working alongside an experienced clinical team, you'll play an integral role in delivering exceptional standards of patient care while helping maintain the warm and supportive atmosphere the practice is known for.
With a varied caseload ranging from routine procedures to more complex medical and surgical cases, this role provides excellent opportunities to continue developing your clinical confidence and nursing skills.
The Candidate
You will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care.
You'll enjoy working within a supportive team, be confident carrying out nurse consultations and Schedule 3 duties, and be committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical care.
