The Role

This is a permanent full-time Veterinary Surgeon position working 40 hours per week across four days, providing an excellent work-life balance.

The rota includes either 1 in 3 Saturdays within the practice or 1 in 6 full weekends at a nearby 24-hour hospital, allowing access to additional clinical support and advanced facilities while maintaining a manageable weekend commitment.

You'll enjoy a varied first opinion caseload covering consultations, preventative healthcare, routine surgery and medical case management while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team. The practice encourages continuity of care, allowing you to build strong client relationships and work cases through from diagnosis to treatment wherever appropriate.

Supported by the wider Medivet network, you'll have excellent opportunities to further develop your clinical interests through funded certificates, Clinical Communities and access to advanced referral services.

The Candidate

You will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for delivering exceptional clinical care and outstanding client service.

You'll enjoy working collaboratively within a supportive team, be confident managing a varied first opinion caseload and have a genuine commitment to maintaining high clinical standards.
