The Role

This is a full-time 12-month fixed-term Veterinary Surgeon position working a 4-day week, with fixed days off to help maintain an excellent work-life balance.

The role includes a 1 in 3 Saturday rota together with participation in a shared out-of-hours and Bank Holiday rota based at a nearby 24-hour hospital. The out-of-hours commitment is minimal, well-supported and provides valuable exposure to emergency and inpatient cases.

You'll manage a varied first opinion caseload covering consultations, routine surgery, preventative healthcare and medical case management while working alongside experienced Veterinary Surgeons who are keen to mentor and support your ongoing clinical development. The practice encourages continuity of care, allowing you to build strong client relationships and work cases through wherever appropriate.

This opportunity is particularly well suited to a Veterinary Surgeon with at least 12 months' UK experience who is looking to continue developing within a busy, supportive and well-equipped practice.

The Candidate

You will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 12 months' UK veterinary experience and a passion for delivering exceptional clinical care.

You'll be enthusiastic, motivated and enjoy working within a collaborative team environment while managing a varied first opinion caseload. This role would suit a Veterinary Surgeon looking to strengthen both their medical and surgical skills while benefiting from excellent mentoring, modern facilities and outstanding clinical support.
