The Practice
This established and highly regarded small animal practice has built a loyal client base by delivering exceptional first opinion veterinary care within a welcoming and collaborative environment. The practice is supported by an experienced clinical team, including Registered Veterinary Nurses, a Student Veterinary Nurse, Veterinary Care Assistant and dedicated Client Care colleagues, all working together to provide outstanding patient and client care.
The practice encourages clinical collaboration, allowing Veterinary Surgeons to work closely with experienced nurses while managing a varied medical and surgical caseload. As part of the wider Medivet network, you'll also benefit from access to advanced referral facilities, clinical communities and internal CPD, ensuring excellent opportunities for ongoing professional development and career progression.
Close links with a nearby 24-hour hospital provide additional support for emergency and complex cases, allowing excellent continuity of care while maintaining a strong first opinion focus.

The Role
This is a permanent full-time Veterinary Surgeon position within a busy and well-supported first opinion practice.
You'll enjoy a varied caseload covering consultations, routine surgery, preventative healthcare and medical case management while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team. The practice offers excellent continuity of care, allowing you to develop strong relationships with both clients and patients while working cases through wherever appropriate.
The weekend commitment consists of 1 in 6 weekends at a nearby 24-hour hospital, providing access to additional clinical support and advanced facilities while maintaining an excellent work-life balance.
With modern equipment, experienced nursing support and access to the wider Medivet network, this role offers an excellent opportunity to continue developing your clinical skills within a progressive practice environment.
The Candidate
You will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for delivering exceptional clinical care and outstanding client service.
You'll enjoy working collaboratively within a supportive team, be confident managing a varied first opinion caseload and have a genuine commitment to maintaining high clinical standards. This opportunity would suit a Veterinary Surgeon looking to develop their career within a busy practice offering excellent facilities, strong nursing support and outstanding opportunities for professional growth.
