The Role

This is a permanent part-time Night Registered Veterinary Nurse position within a busy 24-hour hospital.

You'll work a highly attractive 1 week on, 2 weeks off rota, providing an exceptional work-life balance while remaining part of a supportive and experienced overnight team.

The role involves delivering outstanding overnight patient care through Schedule 3 nursing activities, inpatient monitoring, anaesthesia support, emergency nursing, patient admissions and discharges, and assisting Veterinary Surgeons with emergency procedures and hospital cases. You'll play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of patient welfare throughout the night while ensuring excellent communication with both clients and the daytime clinical team during patient handovers.

This varied hospital role is ideal for an RVN who enjoys emergency nursing, critical care and working within a fast-paced clinical environment.

The Candidate

You will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care.

You'll enjoy working within a collaborative hospital team, be confident managing hospitalised patients and supporting emergency procedures, and have a genuine commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient welfare. This opportunity would particularly suit an RVN with an interest in Emergency and Critical Care who is looking to further develop their nursing skills within a busy 24-hour hospital.
