The Role

This is a permanent full-time opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon ready to step into a leadership position within a busy and supportive first opinion practice.

As Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you'll combine hands-on consulting and surgical responsibilities with clinical leadership, helping to guide and develop the practice team while maintaining the highest standards of patient and client care. You'll play a key role in mentoring colleagues, supporting clinical decision-making and encouraging continuous professional development throughout the practice.

Working closely with the experienced nursing team and wider clinical network, you'll also benefit from access to a nearby 24-hour hospital, allowing seamless referral of complex cases and providing additional clinical support whenever needed.

The Candidate

You will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with strong first opinion experience and a passion for delivering outstanding clinical care.

This opportunity would suit either an existing Lead Veterinary Surgeon or an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking to take the next step into a leadership role within a supportive and progressive environment.
