The Role
This is a permanent full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse position within a busy 24-hour hospital.
The role has a particular emphasis on surgical nursing and diagnostic imaging, making it ideal for an RVN who enjoys theatre practice, anaesthesia, perioperative patient care and assisting with advanced diagnostic procedures.
Working closely with experienced Veterinary Surgeons and fellow nurses, you'll support a wide variety of surgical procedures while providing exceptional patient care throughout the entire surgical journey. You'll also contribute to advanced imaging cases and, where required, provide ward nursing support to ensure the highest standards of inpatient care are maintained across the hospital.
This varied role offers excellent exposure to complex medical and surgical cases, making it an outstanding opportunity for an RVN looking to broaden their clinical experience within a hospital environment.
The Candidate
You will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care.
This opportunity would particularly suit a nurse with an interest in surgical nursing, anaesthesia and diagnostic imaging who is keen to continue developing their clinical skills within a supportive multidisciplinary hospital team. You'll be a proactive team player, committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient welfare while contributing to the continued success and development of the nursing service.
