We are currently recruiting for a Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, independent small animal practice in Berkshire on an ongoing basis, with a start date of Monday 31st August. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established practice with a supportive team, modern facilities and flexible working arrangements.

• Hours: 4–5 days per week (flexibility required)
• Weekends: Some weekend on-call cover required between 8:00am and 5:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays
• OOH: None – out-of-hours cases are referred from 9:00pm during the week
• Sole charge: None stated
• Duties: Consultations and routine surgery
• Branch work: Yes – must be able to drive between branches for consultations
• Accommodation: Provided
• Vehicle: Use of a car provided
• Pay rate: Up to £550 per day, depending on experience and payment method
• Parking: Available

You’ll be joining a welcoming and experienced team within a well-established independent practice offering excellent facilities and a supportive working environment. The practice has no routine out-of-hours commitment and can provide both accommodation and a vehicle, making it an excellent opportunity for locums travelling from further afield.

We’re looking for a confident, personable Veterinary Surgeon who is comfortable with both consultations and routine surgery, enjoys working as part of a collaborative team and is happy to travel between branches when required.
