An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse or experienced Student Veterinary Nurse to join a brand-new independent small animal practice opening in the Crowborough area of East Sussex. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a brand-new clinical team from day one, helping establish a modern practice within the local community while working alongside an experienced and supportive veterinary group.

The Practice
This exciting opportunity offers the chance to join a brand-new purpose-built small animal practice as part of an established independent veterinary group that has been delivering exceptional veterinary care for more than fifteen years. Joining the practice from its opening provides a unique opportunity to help shape the development of a brand-new clinic, establish lasting client relationships and become an integral member of a close-knit clinical team from the very beginning.
The practice has been designed to provide a modern, welcoming environment for both clients and colleagues, with high-quality equipment and facilities enabling the team to deliver excellent first opinion veterinary care from day one. Dedicated surgical facilities also support visiting specialist surgeons, allowing a broader range of procedures to be performed within the practice while providing valuable learning opportunities for the clinical team.
Registered Veterinary Nurses are encouraged to utilise their skills to the fullest, taking an active role across theatre, inpatient care, diagnostics, nurse consultations and client education while working closely alongside experienced Veterinary Surgeons and support staff.
Located adjacent to an established pet care retailer and grooming salon, the practice also benefits from excellent visibility and footfall, helping support the continued growth of the client base.

The Role
Applications are welcomed from Registered Veterinary Nurses and experienced Student Veterinary Nurses looking to continue developing within a supportive independent practice.
Both full and part-time opportunities are available. Full-time colleagues work a five-day week together with participation in an every other Saturday morning rota. There are no Sunday, Bank Holiday or out-of-hours commitments, allowing an excellent work-life balance.
This varied nursing role offers involvement across all aspects of first opinion practice including theatre nursing, anaesthesia, inpatient care, diagnostics, laboratory work, surgical assistance and nurse consultations. As a founding member of the practice team, you’ll have the opportunity to help establish clinical standards, build strong client relationships and contribute towards the continued success and growth of the new surgery.
Professional development is actively encouraged, with generous CPD funding and ongoing support available to help nurses continue progressing throughout their careers.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be either a Registered Veterinary Nurse or an experienced Student Veterinary Nurse approaching qualification, with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient and client care.
