The Practice
This exciting opportunity offers the chance to join a brand-new purpose-built small animal practice as part of an established independent veterinary group that has been delivering exceptional veterinary care for over seventeen years. Throughout its continued growth, the group has remained proudly family owned and independent, investing heavily in its people, facilities and equipment while maintaining a genuine team-focused culture.
Joining from the outset provides a rare opportunity to help shape a brand-new surgery, establish long-term client relationships and influence the development of the practice from day one.

Although the initial rota will include periods of sole charge, you’ll never feel professionally isolated. Alongside support from the practice owner and visiting surgeons, you’ll benefit from the knowledge and experience of a wider veterinary team comprising around thirty Veterinary Surgeons and more than eighty colleagues across the group, creating a genuinely collaborative environment where advice and support are always available.
Located adjacent to an established pet care retailer and grooming salon, the practice benefits from excellent visibility and footfall, helping establish a strong and growing client base from the outset.

The Role
Applications are welcomed from experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeons with a minimum of two years’ UK practice experience.
Both full and part-time opportunities are available. The full-time rota consists of a four-day working week together with participation in a shared 1 in 2 Saturday morning rota. There are no Sunday, Bank Holiday or out-of-hours commitments, allowing an excellent work-life balance.
Initially, the role will include periods of sole charge as the new practice establishes itself. However, you’ll work closely alongside the practice owner, visiting specialist surgeons and an experienced nursing team while benefiting from the ongoing support of the wider veterinary group.
The caseload will provide an excellent mix of consultations, diagnostics, surgery and preventative healthcare, allowing you to enjoy genuine clinical variety while contributing towards the continued growth and success of the new practice.
Professional development is actively encouraged, with generous CPD funding and ongoing support available for Veterinary Surgeons wishing to further develop their clinical interests.
