The Practice

This well-established 24-hour small animal hospital provides first opinion, emergency and inpatient care, offering a busy and rewarding clinical environment. You’ll become part of a friendly and supportive overnight team committed to delivering exceptional standards of patient care throughout the night.

Working alongside experienced Veterinary Surgeons and Registered Veterinary Nurses, you’ll play an essential role in caring for hospitalised patients and supporting the smooth running of the hospital during overnight shifts.

The Role

This is a full-time permanent night position working an attractive 7 nights on, 7 nights off rota.

You’ll work 12-hour night shifts from 8:00pm to 8:00am, supporting the veterinary surgeons and nurses with inpatient care, assisting with procedures, monitoring patients and ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare throughout the night.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience within a busy hospital environment while working alongside an experienced overnight clinical team.

The Candidate

You’ll be passionate about animal care, organised and enjoy working as part of a supportive team.

You should be able to remain calm under pressure, prioritise effectively and be eager to learn and develop your skills within a busy hospital environment. Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be 18 years of age or over.
