The Practice
This busy and well-equipped 24-hour small animal hospital provides first opinion, emergency and inpatient care, offering an exciting and varied working environment. You’ll become part of a friendly and supportive clinical team dedicated to delivering exceptional standards of patient and client care.
Working alongside experienced Veterinary Surgeons and Registered Veterinary Nurses, you’ll play an important role in the day-to-day care of hospitalised patients while developing your practical skills within a collaborative hospital setting.

The Location
Based in the Liverpool area of Merseyside, the practice benefits from excellent transport links, a vibrant city centre, beautiful waterfront, surrounding countryside and easy access to the wider North West. The area offers an excellent balance of city living and outdoor leisure opportunities.
The Role
This is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The rota also includes 1 in 4 weekends, 1 bank holiday per year, and up to 2 weeks of on-call cover annually.
Working closely with the veterinary and nursing teams, you’ll support inpatient care, assist with surgical procedures, monitor patients during recovery and help ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, welfare and clinical care throughout the hospital.
The Candidate
You’ll be passionate about animal care, organised, compassionate and enjoy working as part of a supportive team.
This role would suit someone who can remain calm under pressure, prioritise effectively and is eager to learn and develop within a busy hospital environment. Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be 18 years of age or over.
