The Practice
This well-established standalone small animal practice has built an excellent reputation within the local community for delivering high-quality veterinary care in a friendly and welcoming environment. As a locally owned practice, decisions are made quickly, allowing the team to focus on delivering the very best care while ensuring every colleague has the opportunity to contribute ideas and influence the way the practice operates.
You’ll be joining an experienced and supportive team of Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, a Student Veterinary Nurse and dedicated Receptionists who work closely together to provide exceptional patient and client care. The practice also benefits from colleagues with a range of clinical interests, including exotics, creating an excellent environment for learning and professional development.
The varied first opinion caseload provides an excellent balance of medicine and surgery, with genuine clinical freedom and strong encouragement to pursue individual interests and further qualifications.

The Role
This role offers genuine flexibility, with both full and part-time applications welcomed. While the practice has preferred working days, they are happy to discuss alternative working patterns to help achieve an excellent work-life balance.
The successful candidate will enjoy a varied first opinion caseload across medicine and surgery, with genuine clinical freedom to manage cases to a high standard. There are no out-of-hours or Sunday commitments, while Saturday mornings are shared on a relaxed 1 in 4 rota.
The practice encourages every Veterinary Surgeon to develop their own clinical interests, whether that’s through additional CPD, certificate study or expanding existing areas of expertise.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon who is confident managing routine consultations and surgery.
