The Practice
This modern, purpose-built small animal practice has established an excellent reputation for delivering high standards of veterinary care and has been recognised with multiple industry awards. The practice is RCVS Accredited under the Practice Standards Scheme and has achieved Silver Cat Friendly accreditation together with RWAF accreditation, reflecting its commitment to providing exceptional patient care across all aspects of the practice.
You’ll be joining an experienced and supportive clinical team led by dedicated veterinary professionals with extensive experience across small animal medicine and surgery. The practice is supported by an experienced Practice Manager, Registered Veterinary Nurses, a Veterinary Care Assistant and a friendly Client Care team, creating a collaborative environment where everyone works together to deliver the highest standards of patient and client care.
The varied first opinion caseload offers an excellent balance of medicine and surgery, allowing Veterinary Surgeons to work cases up thoroughly while developing their own clinical interests. The practice encourages continuous learning and actively supports further qualifications and certificates.

The Location
Located in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, the practice enjoys excellent transport links to Coventry, Birmingham and the wider Midlands, with direct rail services to London in under an hour. The Role
This is primarily a full-time position working a combination of early and late weekday shifts together with a shared 1 in 3 Saturday rota. However, the practice understands the importance of flexibility and is happy to discuss alternative working patterns for the right candidate.
Consultations are scheduled for 20 minutes as standard, with the final appointment finishing before the end of the working day to help ensure the team leaves on time. Dedicated administration time, protected lunch breaks and regular tea breaks are also built into the diary, supporting both clinical efficiency and colleague wellbeing.
The successful candidate will enjoy a varied first opinion caseload and should be comfortable with routine medical and surgical cases, including periods of sole charge when required.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon with a broad range of general practice skills and the confidence to work independently when required.
