The Practice
This well-established small animal practice has been caring for pets in the local community for over eight years and has built an excellent reputation for delivering exceptional clinical care and customer service. Led by experienced veterinary professionals, the practice has created a friendly and welcoming environment where teamwork, honesty and compassion are at the heart of everything they do.
You’ll be joining an experienced team of three Veterinary Surgeons, five Registered Veterinary Nurses, one Veterinary Care Assistant and four dedicated Receptionists who work closely together to provide outstanding patient and client care. The practice is proud to be an RCVS Practice Standards Scheme accredited practice and has also achieved the Good Client Service Award, reflecting its commitment to maintaining the highest standards throughout the practice.
The varied caseload provides an excellent mix of medicine and surgery, including orthopaedic procedures, giving Veterinary Surgeons the opportunity to develop their clinical skills while following cases through with excellent continuity of care.

The Role
This flexible position can be tailored around the successful candidate, with both full and part-time applications welcomed. The practice understands that achieving a healthy work-life balance is important and is happy to consider flexible working patterns, including school hours where possible.
You’ll enjoy a varied first opinion caseload across both medicine and surgery, working within a collaborative environment where ideas are encouraged and individual clinical interests are supported. Whether you’re looking to further develop your surgical skills, expand your medical knowledge or work towards a certificate, you’ll receive ongoing encouragement and support from an experienced team.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have at least two years’ experience within small animal practice and be confident managing routine medical cases and surgical procedures.
You’ll be a compassionate and approachable Veterinary Surgeon with excellent communication skills who enjoys building strong client relationships and working collaboratively within a supportive team. The practice is looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, committed to high clinical standards and keen to continue developing both professionally and personally.
