The Practice
This purpose-built small animal practice forms part of one of the UK's largest independent, family-owned veterinary groups and is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care within a friendly, collaborative and supportive environment.
The spacious, well-equipped practice provides everything required to deliver high standards of first opinion veterinary care while supporting continuous learning and clinical development. You'll work alongside an experienced team of Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses and support colleagues, with many team members pursuing postgraduate certificates and additional qualifications.

The Location

The Role
This permanent full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to work across all aspects of first opinion veterinary nursing within a busy and progressive practice.
Working 39 hours per week across four 9-hour days, together with a 1 in 4 weekend rota and duty nights on rotation, you'll play an important role within the nursing team, delivering exceptional patient care while supporting Veterinary Surgeons across a varied medical and surgical caseload.
Typical responsibilities include:
• Nurse consultations and preventative healthcare clinics.
• Surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring.
• Inpatient nursing and patient care.
• Laboratory work and diagnostic support.
• Assisting Veterinary Surgeons during consultations and surgical procedures.
• Dispensing medications and maintaining accurate clinical records.
• Delivering outstanding patient and client care.
• Working collaboratively with the wider clinical team to maintain excellent clinical standards.
About You
• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse.
• Previous experience within a small animal practice.
• Confident across all aspects of first opinion nursing.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive and supportive team player.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional patient and client care.
• Committed to ongoing professional development.
