The Practice
This purpose-built small animal practice forms part of one of the UK’s largest independent, family-owned veterinary groups and is committed to delivering exceptional clinical care alongside outstanding customer service. The practice provides a welcoming and collaborative working environment where professional development is actively encouraged.
You’ll be joining a knowledgeable and supportive clinical team consisting of experienced Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, reception colleagues and support staff, with many team members pursuing postgraduate certificates and additional clinical qualifications.

The Role
This is a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse position on a 6-month fixed-term contract, working 39.5 hours per week with a 1 in 4 weekend rota.
You’ll play an integral role within the clinical team, delivering exceptional nursing care while supporting the veterinary surgeons across a varied caseload.
Typical responsibilities include:
• Nurse consultations and preventative healthcare clinics.
• Surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring.
• Inpatient care and hospital nursing.
• Laboratory work and diagnostic support.
• Assisting Veterinary Surgeons during medical and surgical procedures.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records.
• Delivering outstanding patient and client care.
• Working collaboratively with the wider clinical and reception teams.

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse.
• Previous experience within a small animal practice.
• Confident across all aspects of general veterinary nursing.
