An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established small animal practice in Corby, Northamptonshire. The experienced clinical team includes:

2 Veterinary Surgeons.
4 Registered Veterinary Nurses including the Practice Owner.
Student Veterinary Nurse.
Veterinary Care Assistant.
4 Receptionists.

The Role

This role would suit an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is confident working independently and managing routine first-opinion cases.

Typical responsibilities include:

Routine consultations and case work-ups.
Performing routine surgical procedures.
Managing emergency presentations where required.
Delivering high standards of patient and client care.
Working collaboratively within a supportive clinical team.

There will be some sole charge responsibilities within the rota. However, there are no out-of-hours commitments.

The practice ideally seeks a Veterinary Surgeon with 2–3 years' post qualification experience who is comfortable managing routine cases independently.

About You

RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
Minimum of 2–3 years' experience within small animal practice.
Confident handling routine consultations and surgeries.
Comfortable working independently when required.
Strong communication and client care skills.
Team-focused with a proactive approach.
