An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a modern and well-equipped independent veterinary practice in Portsmouth. • Salary £50,000 – £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

• Full-time, 39 hours per week

The Practice

This spacious, purpose-built veterinary practice is equipped with modern diagnostic and surgical facilities, providing an excellent environment to deliver high standards of patient care.

As part of a growing independent veterinary group, the practice combines the resources of a larger network with the supportive culture and flexibility of an independent environment. The team is passionate about delivering excellent clinical care and maintaining strong relationships with clients and their pets.

The Role

This position would suit a Veterinary Surgeon with at least three years of experience, including experience within the UK.

You will play a key role in delivering excellent clinical care while working collaboratively with both clinical and support colleagues.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Delivering preventative healthcare and consultations

• Diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions

• Managing cases and following through on treatment plans

• Performing routine surgical procedures

• Maintaining high standards of clinical and client care

A strong interest in early diagnostics and patient wellbeing would be advantageous.

About You

• RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon

• Ideally at least three years' experience

• Minimum one year practising within the UK preferred

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Passion for delivering high standards of patient care
