The Role

As Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional client service while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

You will manage appointment bookings, client communications and administrative duties, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and care at all times.

Typical Duties Include

• Greeting clients and patients on arrival.

• Managing the practice diary and optimising appointment availability.

• Handling incoming calls and client enquiries.

• Triage and coordination of emergency appointments.

• Processing repeat prescription requests.

• Maintaining accurate client and patient records.

• Supporting the wider team in delivering excellent service.

About You

• Experienced in a client-facing reception role (veterinary experience desirable).

• Confident using online booking systems and administrative software.

• Strong numeracy and organisational skills.

• Able to remain calm and professional under pressure.

• Flexible, proactive and a strong team player.
