An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a busy and well-established small animal practice in North London. This full-time permanent role offers exposure to a varied caseload, advanced diagnostics and strong clinical support within a thriving practice environment.

• 1 in 6 weekends at a 24-hour hospital site

• Digital radiography

• Ultrasonography

• CT and MRI access

• Dentistry and acupuncture services

• Complex soft tissue and advanced procedures

• Spacious reception, consult rooms, prep and theatre areas

The Location

Located on Finchley Road in Temple Fortune, the practice benefits from a prominent position within a parade of shops, cafés and restaurants. There is free parking available and excellent transport links into Central London.

The Role

You will play a key part in delivering exceptional patient and client care, supporting surgical procedures and running nurse-led clinics.

Typical duties include:

• Supporting surgeries and procedures (pre and post-operative care)

• Nurse-led consultations and Schedule 3 procedures

• Patient monitoring and inpatient care

• Managing admissions and discharges

• Medication dispensing and checking

• Supporting team briefings and efficient practice workflow

The rota is based on a 4-day working week with a 1 in 6 weekend rotation at a nearby 24-hour hospital.

About You

• RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse

• Confident delivering high standards of patient and client care

• Strong communication and teamworking skills

• Enthusiastic about running nurse clinics and contributing to practice performance

• Motivated and proactive approach
