An ongoing locum opportunity has become available for a confident and competent Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a busy small animal practice in Warrington.

Key Details

  • Role: Locum Registered Veterinary Nurse

  • Location: Warrington, Cheshire

  • Start: Immediate

  • Duration: Ongoing

  • Rate: £14 to £16 per hour DOE

  • Shifts: 9.5-hour days with 30-minute unpaid lunch

  • Weekend rota included

Shifts & Requirements

  • Weekday shifts: 9.5 hours with 30-minute unpaid break

  • Saturday: 08:30–15:30

  • Sunday: 08:30–17:30

  • 30-minute unpaid lunch on weekend shifts

  • Duty nights required

Duty Night Payment

  • £100 per patient (3 checks)

  • £80 per patient (2 checks)

The Role

The successful candidate must be confident and competent across all areas of small animal nursing, including:

  • Theatre and anaesthesia

  • Inpatient care

  • Consults

  • General nursing duties

This role would suit an experienced RVN who is adaptable, reliable and comfortable working within a busy clinical environment.

Amazing experience

New Grad Experience

Both Abby and Adam were fantastic, quick to respond and also really took into account what exactly I was looking for. As soon as I’d mentioned to Abby I was interested in the charity/not-for-profit sector she quickly compiled a list of practices that might interest me. In doing that Abby introduced me to a company that I would quite literally describe as my dream job, and after some interviews (wonderfully set up by both Abby and Adam through the process) landed that job.
