This full-time role offers exposure to a varied caseload, including inpatient care, theatre support and emergency work, within a supportive and collaborative hospital team.

This progressive 24-hour veterinary hospital provides round-the-clock care for a strong local client base, alongside a growing referral caseload. The hospital environment offers exposure to inpatient care, emergency and critical cases, advanced imaging and a wide range of surgical procedures.

The culture is supportive and collaborative, with nurses valued for their clinical skills and encouraged to fully utilise their scope of practice. Ongoing development of nurse-led services and structured mentorship form a key part of the team ethos.

The Role

This position is ideal for an RVN who enjoys variety and thrives in a hospital environment. The role includes a balance of:

• Nurse consultations including post-operative checks and client education.

• Inpatient and ward nursing with hands-on patient care and monitoring.

• Theatre support for routine and advanced surgical procedures.

• Assisting with emergency and critical care cases.

• Supporting the development of nurse-led clinics and services.

• Assisting with student and newly qualified nurse support where appropriate.

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse.

• Confident across theatre, inpatient and consult nursing.

• Compassionate, reliable and patient-focused.

• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

• Keen to develop professionally within a hospital setting.

• Newly qualified nurses welcome, with structured support provided.
