Weekend rota: 1 in 4 Saturdays (09:00–18:00).

Salary: Up to £31,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
The Practice
This busy small animal practice benefits from a loyal and well-established client base, with a high proportion of insured clients allowing for thorough case work-ups. The team includes multiple veterinary surgeons, RVNs, support staff and a dedicated reception team, creating a collaborative and efficient working environment.
The practice offers advanced nurse-led appointments including behavioural, dental, weight management, pain management, arthritis, diabetes and new puppy/kitten clinics. The veterinary team performs orthopaedic procedures as well as a wide range of soft tissue surgeries.
The Role
You will play a key clinical role within the practice, supporting consultations and surgeries while delivering high standards of patient and client care.
Responsibilities include:

Assisting vets during consultations and surgical procedures.

Performing Schedule 3 procedures as directed.

Supporting anaesthesia and post-operative care.

Taking radiographs and assisting with diagnostics.

Running nurse clinics and advising clients.

Delivering high-quality inpatient and intensive care.

Dispensing medications in accordance with guidelines.
-
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
You will work closely with senior team members to support the smooth day-to-day running and ongoing development of the practice.
About You

RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse.

Open to experienced RVNs or confident newly qualified nurses.

Comfortable working across all areas of practice.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Passionate about delivering excellent patient and client care.
