• Role: Registered Veterinary Nurse.

• Contract: Permanent.

• Location: Billingshurst, West Sussex.

• Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week.

• Working pattern: 08:30–17:00 or 10:00–18:30, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays.

• Salary: Up to £33,500 FTE, commensurate with experience and hours.

The Practice

This practice forms part of a long-established, independent veterinary group that has chosen to remain family owned. There are no corporate targets, no restrictive ownership schemes and no hidden tie-ins. All income is reinvested back into the people and the facilities, with regular refurbishment and ongoing investment.

The clinic is located close to the South Downs National Park and offers a welcoming, community-focused environment with a loyal client base. Facilities include:

• Digital radiography.

• Ultrasonography.

• In-house integrated laboratory.

• Dedicated surgical facilities.

The role has become available due to a change in working patterns within the nursing team, creating an opportunity to join an established, supportive practice.

The Role

This is a part-time position working three days per week alongside an experienced nursing team. The rota has been designed to prioritise work–life balance, with no on-call duties, no Sunday working and no bank holidays.

This role would suit an RVN who values autonomy, flexibility and working within an independent environment where staff wellbeing and clinical standards are genuinely prioritised.
