The Practice

This RCVS-accredited, friendly and well-established practice offers a supportive working environment with a strong team of veterinary surgeons, nurses, assistants and reception staff. The focus is on delivering excellent first-opinion care and building long-term client relationships.

Facilities are of a high standard and include:

• Advanced laparoscopic equipment.

• Fully equipped in-house laboratory with modern analysers.

• Ultrasound scanner.

• Digital radiography, including dental x-ray.

• Endoscopy and modern dental equipment.

The Role

This is a part-time position based at the Paisley branch, working 32 hours per week on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The role is structured around a rota system and offers a varied and engaging caseload.

Duties will include:

• Caring for medical and surgical patients, including post-operative care.

• Assisting veterinary surgeons in theatre and the prep area.

• Pharmacy ordering and stock control.

• Caring for isolation patients.

• Laboratory work and diagnostics.

Personal development is actively encouraged, and support is available for nurses looking to undertake further qualifications.
