The Practice

This modern, well-equipped practice is supported by a close-knit and dedicated team, including one experienced RVN and a VCA. The clinic provides a calm and efficient working environment, allowing you to focus on delivering high standards of patient and client care.

• Two consulting rooms.

• Dedicated operating theatre.

• Digital x-ray and dental facilities.

The practice also benefits from direct referral pathways and clinical support from a nearby 24-hour hospital, ensuring continuity of care and peace of mind for both clinicians and clients.

The Role

As Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day clinical leadership of the practice, managing general practice cases and routine surgeries while shaping the clinical and cultural direction of the clinic. This is a sole-charge role, ideal for an experienced vet who enjoys autonomy and leadership.

Rota & Working Pattern

• Part-time position working 3 days per week.

• 1 in 3 Sunday rota.

• 2 weeks of on-call per year.

• 2 bank holidays annually.

About You

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon.

• Confident working in a sole-charge environment.

• Comfortable providing clinical leadership and mentoring.

• Strong communicator with a client-focused approach.
