The Practice

This is a large, central practice offering a busy and varied caseload, supported by an experienced leadership and nursing team. Facilities include:

• Four consulting rooms.

• Dedicated surgical theatre.

• Large prep area.

• Digital x-ray and ultrasound.

• Laparoscopic equipment.

• In-house blood machines.

You’ll be supported by an established Practice Manager, Lead Vet, Head RVN and a strong, experienced nursing team, creating a collaborative and well-organised working environment.

The Role

This role would suit a Veterinary Surgeon with a strong interest in medicine who enjoys managing cases through to completion, while keeping surgical duties to a minimum. The rota has been designed to prioritise work–life balance, with no routine out-of-hours work.

Rota & Working Pattern

• 40 hours over 4 days per week.

• 1 in 6 Saturday rota (worked at a nearby branch, 09:00–17:00).

• No routine OOH.

• Bank holiday cover limited to approximately one day per year at a nearby 24-hour hospital.

• Part-time hours considered.

Relocation Support

A relocation package is available for candidates relocating from outside the UK or from more than 60 miles away.
