• Role: Area Veterinary Surgeon.

• Contract: Permanent.

• Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire.

• Hours: Full time, 4 days per week.

• Weekend rota: 1 in 6 weekends.

• Salary: £45,000 per year.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for a confident Veterinary Surgeon looking for the security of a permanent position combined with the variety of working across multiple practices. You'll support local clinics with a diverse caseload, gaining exposure to different teams, working environments and clinical challenges.

You'll have the opportunity to influence and support others, build leadership experience and contribute to maintaining high clinical standards across practices, all while continuing to develop your own skills.

The Role

• Provide high-quality clinical care across a number of local practices.

• Work confidently in consults and surgery, including sole charge where required.

• Deliver consistent standards of regulatory, clinical and operational compliance.

• Support teams with case management and continuity of care.

• Build strong professional relationships across practices.

• Contribute to clinical development and best practice sharing.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon (or eligible to register).

• Experience in small animal medicine and routine surgery.

• Confidence working independently and in sole charge situations.

• Flexible, adaptable and positive approach to varied working environments.

• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
