Hours: 3–4 days per week.

Weekend rota: 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, no bank holidays, no on-call.

The Opportunity
This is an ideal role for a confident Veterinary Surgeon ready to take the next step into leadership. You'll play a key role in setting clinical standards, mentoring colleagues and driving high-quality patient and client care, while remaining actively involved in day-to-day clinical work.
The position offers genuine autonomy, balanced with strong regional and clinical support, allowing you to develop services and champion best practice.

The Role

Lead day-to-day clinical practice and uphold high medical and surgical standards.

Mentor, coach and line-manage RVNs, supporting student training and development.

Build strong, trusted relationships with clients through clear communication and continuity of care.

Oversee workflow, case continuity and rota planning alongside the nursing leadership team.

Contribute to audits, protocols and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
-
Qualified MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon.

Solid small animal experience with confidence in routine surgery and medicine.

Proven or emerging leadership skills with a positive, collaborative approach.

Comfortable managing more complex cases with referral support.

Certificate holder or working towards a certificate advantageous but not essential.
