The Opportunity

This role is ideal for a confident Veterinary Surgeon with strong ECC and sole-charge experience who is looking to supplement their income while developing emergency and critical care skills.

You'll manage a varied out-of-hours caseload in a supportive hospital setting, with experienced nursing support on every shift, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

The Practice

The hospital offers:

• Recently refurbished, modern facilities.

• Orthopaedic equipment and advanced diagnostics.

• Digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy and tonometry.

• Support for both internal and external out-of-hours cases.

• Experienced RVN support and rotational VCA cover on shift.

The Role

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to hospitalised patients.

• Manage consultations and emergency surgical cases where required.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans with clients.

• Work confidently in sole charge while collaborating with nursing support.

• Maintain high clinical, regulatory and operational standards.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon.

• Proven sole-charge experience essential.

• Strong ECC and emergency decision-making skills.

• Confident, calm and professional approach under pressure.

• Team-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
