The Opportunity

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact for clients and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer care. You'll play a key role in supporting both clients and the clinical team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

The Role

• Carry out reception duties, greeting clients on arrival and updating records.

• Answer client phone calls and manage messages efficiently.

• Triage emergency appointments, contacting clients and rearranging bookings as required.

• Manage the practice diary to optimise appointment availability.

• Ensure online appointment booking slots are correctly maintained.

• Process repeat prescription requests accurately and efficiently.

• Work collaboratively within a supportive, fast-paced team.

What We're Looking For

• Strong client-facing and reception skills.

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

• Good numeracy skills and confidence using computer-based systems.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritise workload effectively.

• Flexible, proactive and willing to learn.

• Previous veterinary receptionist experience is desirable but not essential.
