Weekend rota: 1 in 3 Saturdays at a nearby practice.
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for an ambitious vet ready to take the lead in a busy, community-focused practice. You'll play a key role in developing clinical services, building strong client relationships, and mentoring a skilled and experienced team.
There is particular interest in candidates holding, or working towards, a certificate in dermatology or ophthalmology, with an established and growing caseload offering excellent scope to build a service around your clinical interests.
The Team & Facilities

Highly experienced nursing team with over 40 years' combined experience.

Support from a senior veterinary colleague with extensive clinical experience, including acupuncture.

Sole charge responsibility two days per week, balanced with strong team support.

Well-equipped practice including dental x-ray, in-house laboratory, and Tonopen.

Access to laparoscopic equipment via a nearby sister practice.
The Role

Deliver exceptional clinical care in both consultations and surgery.

Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the veterinary and nursing team.

Develop tailored treatment plans and build long-term client relationships.

Take ownership of clinical standards and practice development.

Work collaboratively within a supportive regional network.

Inspire, mentor and develop colleagues within the practice.
About You
-
Qualified MRCVS with solid experience in small animal practice.

Confident working both medically and surgically.

Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach.

Comfortable with sole charge and clinical decision-making.

Motivated to lead, develop, and shape a practice long-term.
