An excellent opportunity for an experienced and confident Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established small animal practice in Worthing, West Sussex. • Role: Veterinary Surgeon.

• Contract: Fixed Term Contract – 12 months.

• Location: Worthing, West Sussex.

• Hours: Full time – 40 hours per week.

• Weekend rota: 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.

• OOH: None.

• Salary: £65,000 per annum.

The Opportunity

This role would suit a confident GP Veterinary Surgeon who is comfortable working sole charge and managing a wide range of cases independently. You'll have the autonomy to make clinical decisions while being supported by a strong, experienced nursing and client care team.

You'll be joining a longstanding team with excellent continuity of care, offering genuine opportunities to refine surgical skills and broaden clinical experience across two nearby sites.

The Role

• Deliver high-quality clinical care in consultations and surgery.

• Manage a varied first-opinion small animal caseload.

• Work confidently in sole charge when required.

• Develop tailored treatment plans in partnership with clients.

• Maintain excellent clinical, regulatory and operational standards.

• Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

• Share skills and support the development of colleagues.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon.

• Confident GP Vet with solid first-opinion experience.

• Comfortable working independently when required.

• Strong communication and client-care skills.

• Team-focused, professional and collaborative approach.
