• Hours: Full time – 40 hours per week.

• Weekend rota: 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9:00am–1:00pm).

• Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per year.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for a Veterinary Surgeon looking for a well-rounded position, combining both consulting and surgery while working within a supportive, personable team.

You'll join a close-knit group of three Vets, supported by RVNs, SVNs and Receptionists, all committed to delivering high-quality patient and client care in a positive working environment.

The practice is located in the historic market town of Cowbridge, known for its independent shops, cafés and strong community feel. It offers an excellent quality of life, with the coast, countryside and Cardiff city centre all within easy reach.

This is a busy small animal clinic with a loyal client base and a reputation for excellent standards of care.

The Role

• Deliver exceptional clinical care in consults and surgery.

• Manage a varied small animal caseload.

• Work collaboratively with vets, nurses and reception teams.

• Maintain high standards of regulatory, clinical and operational compliance.

• Share skills and contribute to wider clinical development.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon.

• Confident in both consulting and operating.

• Strong communication and client-care skills.
