Role: Veterinary Surgeon.

Contract: Permanent.

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Hours: Full time.
-
Working pattern: 4-day week.
-
Shifts: 1 × 11-hour shift and 3 × 9-hour shifts, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.

Start time: 8:30am.
-
Saturdays: Approximately 1 in 5, 8:30am – 6:30pm.

Time off: Day off the week before or after a Saturday worked.

Sundays: None.
-
OOH: None.
-
Bank holidays: Shared equally across the team.

Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
The Opportunity
This role would suit a Veterinary Surgeon with some experience who enjoys delivering high standards of patient and client care within a supportive team. You'll be joining a large, experienced veterinary team, supported by skilled veterinary nurses and reception colleagues who genuinely enjoy working together.
The practice is also actively involved in nurse training and supporting veterinary students, creating a positive learning-focused environment.
The Role

Deliver high-quality clinical care in consultations and surgery.

Manage a varied first-opinion small animal caseload.

Develop tailored treatment plans in partnership with clients.

Maintain excellent clinical, regulatory and operational standards.

Work collaboratively within a supportive, team-focused environment.

Support and contribute to the development of colleagues and students.
Facilities & Practice

Modern, well-equipped small animal practice.

Wide range of diagnostic and surgical equipment.

Nurse training practice.

Host practice for final-year veterinary students.
What We're Looking For

Qualified MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon.

Some experience in small animal practice preferred.

Passion for delivering excellent patient and client care.
