The Opportunity

This role is ideal for a confident small animal Veterinary Surgeon looking for autonomy, strong clinical support and an excellent quality of life. Some sole charge is required, but you'll be supported by an experienced and collaborative team in a well-structured practice.

The practice is located on the Nottinghamshire/Lincolnshire border, within easy reach of Newark and offering excellent rail links, including direct access to London in approximately 1 hour 10 minutes.

The Role

• Deliver high-quality clinical care in consultations and surgery.

• Manage a varied first-opinion small animal caseload.

• Develop tailored treatment plans in partnership with clients.

• Maintain excellent clinical, regulatory and operational standards.

• Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

• Share knowledge and support the development of colleagues.

Facilities & Practice

• Bright, spacious and modern practice environment.

• Separate cat and dog wards.

• Three consulting rooms, including a dedicated cat consult room.

• Digital X-ray and dental X-ray.

• Ultrasound facilities.

• Endoscopy room.

• Comfortable staff facilities including upstairs break room, kitchen and meeting room.

• Extensive outdoor space and ample off-road parking.

• Access to advanced referral services including MRI and CT.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon.

• Confident delivering first-opinion small animal care.

• Comfortable with occasional sole charge.

• Strong communication and client-care skills.

• Team-oriented, professional and motivated approach.
