An excellent opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a large, well-equipped small animal practice in Guildford, Surrey. This is a full-time role within a supportive team environment, offering a varied nursing caseload and strong clinical support.

Key Details

• Role: Registered Veterinary Nurse.

• Contract: Permanent.

• Location: Guildford, Surrey.

• Hours: Full time – 40 hours per week.

• Weekend rota: 1 in 4 Saturdays (8:00am – 1:00pm).

• Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The Opportunity

This role would suit an RVN who enjoys a hands-on nursing role and values working within a close, supportive team. You'll be accountable for delivering nurse-led appointments and supporting veterinary procedures, while maintaining high clinical, regulatory and operational standards.

You will work alongside an experienced leadership team and benefit from a positive working culture focused on collaboration and quality patient care.

The Role

• Deliver nurse-led consultations and Schedule 3 procedures.

• Support consults, surgeries and clinical procedures.

• Deliver patient monitoring and inpatient nursing care.

• Manage admissions and discharges.

• Deliver exceptional care and communication to clients.

• Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, practice and operational standards.

Facilities & Practice

• Large, spacious small animal practice.

• In-house laboratory.

• Ultrasound facilities.

• Recently installed dental X-ray.

• Three consulting rooms.

• Isolation unit.

• Separate cat and dog wards.

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse.

• Confident working across all areas of veterinary nursing.

• Strong team player with good communication skills.
