An excellent opportunity for a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a modern, well-equipped 24-hour veterinary hospital in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. This is a part-time permanent night role, ideal for an RVN who enjoys inpatient care, patient monitoring and working within a structured overnight team.

Key Details

• Role: Night Registered Veterinary Nurse.

• Contract: Permanent.

• Location: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.

• Hours: Part time nights.

• Rota: 7 nights on / 14 nights off.

• Average hours: Approximately 28 hours per week.

• Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 pro rata, depending on experience.

The Opportunity

This role is well suited to an RVN who enjoys working nights and delivering high-quality care to hospitalised patients. You will be responsible for patient monitoring, treatment administration and supporting continuity of care between day and night teams.

The Role

• Deliver high-quality overnight nursing care to hospitalised patients.

• Carry out nurse-led consultations and Schedule 3 procedures where required.

• Support emergency consults, procedures and overnight care.

• Deliver patient monitoring and inpatient nursing care.

• Manage admissions and discharges overnight.

• Ensure accurate handover and communication between night and day teams.

• Deliver exceptional care and communication to clients.

• Work collaboratively within a supportive overnight team.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, practice and operational standards.

• Modern 24-hour veterinary hospital.

• Digital radiography including dental X-ray.

• Ultrasound and ECG facilities.

• Flexible and rigid endoscopy, including bronchoscopy.

• Multiparameter monitoring equipment.

• Facilities for laparoscopic and orthopaedic surgery.

• Fully equipped operating theatre and imaging room.

• Full in-house laboratory.

• Separate cat and dog wards.

• Isolation and recovery kennels.

What We're Looking For

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse.

• Interest in inpatient and overnight nursing care.

• Confident delivering patient monitoring and treatment overnight.

• Strong communication and handover skills.

• Calm, organised and professional approach to night work.
