Role: Registered Veterinary Nurse.
Location: Chippenham, Wiltshire.
Contract: Permanent.
Hours: Full time, average 36 hours per week.
Working Pattern: Four-day week.
Out of Hours: None (dedicated night team in place).
Salary: £26,000 to £29,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
The Role
You will work as part of a friendly, passionate nursing team delivering high standards of inpatient, theatre and clinical nursing care within a busy hospital environment. This is a varied role offering exposure to advanced procedures, diagnostics and case management, supported by experienced colleagues and modern facilities.
The position would suit a motivated RVN who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care. An interest in mentoring and supporting student nurses would be welcomed.
Facilities & Clinical Environment
This hospital is equipped to a very high clinical standard, including digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, laparoscopy, video endoscopy, bronchoscopy, gastroscopy, rigid endoscopy and an in-house laboratory with dedicated lab support. Advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery is carried out on site.
The practice operates as a Tier 3 Veterinary Hospital and holds Gold Cat Friendly accreditation, reflecting its commitment to clinical excellence and patient welfare.
What We're Looking For
RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse.
Confident working across inpatient, theatre and clinical duties.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
A proactive, positive and professional approach.
Interest in CPD and continued professional development.
Experience in a hospital environment advantageous but not essential.
Salary & Benefits
Salary £26,000 to £29,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Six weeks paid holiday including bank holidays.
£600 CPD allowance per annum.

RCVS membership paid plus one additional subscription.
