The Opportunity
This is a rare and confidential opportunity for a highly experienced Veterinary Surgeon to step into genuine hospital ownership within a busy, well-established 24-hour veterinary hospital in Greater London. The role offers the chance to become a co-owner while retaining full clinical autonomy, without the financial risk or operational burden traditionally associated with owning and running a referral-level or ECC hospital independently. You will share in monthly profits while building real, tangible equity over time, supported by a clear and pre-defined exit structure that provides long-term financial security and planning confidence. This is not a franchise and not a salaried lead role. It is a true partnership model designed for senior vets who want autonomy, influence and long-term wealth creation while remaining clinically and strategically involved.

The Hospital
This is a newly refurbished, high-specification 24-hour veterinary hospital serving Beckenham and the wider Greater London area. The hospital acts as a local clinical hub, managing complex medical, surgical and emergency cases. Facilities include:

• Two fully equipped operating theatres

• Five consulting rooms

• Dedicated dental suite with dental x-ray

• Advanced imaging including digital x-ray, ultrasound and endoscopy

• Laparoscopic equipment

• Separate imaging room

• Dedicated cat ward, cat-only waiting area and cat consulting rooms

• External specialist input via remote diagnostic support for cardiology and abdominal imaging

The hospital benefits from a strong surgical and ECC caseload, with exposure to advanced soft tissue, orthopaedic and emergency procedures.

Guaranteed Earnings & Financial Support (Early Years)
To support your transition into ownership, the partnership includes:

• Guaranteed earnings of up to £75,000 per year for the first 1–3 years, dependent on experience and hospital profile

• Ongoing Branch Partner drawings and monthly profit share thereafter

• A structure designed to provide financial security while equity value builds

How the Branch Partnership Model Works

• True co-ownership of an established veterinary hospital

• Typical equity stake of circa 40%, depending on valuation and structure

• Minimum 10% personal investment upfront

• Up to 30% funding support available, provided as a loan if required (subject to approval)

• Monthly profit share aligned to equity percentage

• Equity value increases year on year as the hospital develops

• Structured exit opportunities every two years, with equity sold back at a pre-agreed multiple

Clinical Autonomy & Leadership
You will:

• Retain full clinical autonomy within the hospital

• Lead day-to-day clinical and operational decision-making

• Shape clinical standards, service development and hospital culture

Business & Operational Support
No prior ownership or commercial experience is required. Comprehensive support is provided across:

• Finance, forecasting and performance reporting

• HR, payroll and compliance

• Health & safety and governance

• Procurement, facilities and systems

• Marketing and operational infrastructure

This allows you to focus on leadership, clinical excellence and service development, while the business framework is fully supported.
